Alex Tomecek is a recent addition to the Texas A&M University System. She, however, has many years of experience working at Baylor University and the University of Texas as an administrative assistant for the University Scholars Program and the Classics Department respectively.

Alex earned her degree from the University of Texas in Ancient History and Classical Civilization and Latin. She also fences, rides horses in English Hunter/Jumper, and is a lover of biking and hiking.
