Accountability

Accountability in the Diversity Plan

The goal of accountability is to assess and evaluate progress, and share the results broadly, ensuring that academic and administrative units are held accountable, and rewarded, for advancing the diversity and inclusion goals of the institution.

Released in 2017, the Office for Diversity's assessment explored the impact of the 2010 University Diversity Plan by comparing characteristics of the institution from 2010 to 2016; reviewing institutional and unit-level efforts to impact recruiting, retention, campus climate, and equity; and identifying areas where there is a need for more accountability.

State of Diversity

The Office for Diversity is responsible for the implementation and coordination of this University Diversity Plan. Every three years the Office reviews indicators of institutional change and shares the results broadly in a State of Diversity report.
