Ande Burks

Ande Burks serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Associate Provost for Diversity at Texas A&M University. Ande has years of professional administrative experience including working at the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex and the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University. She received a B.S. in Business and a double-minor in Communications and Creative Studies from Texas A&M University in 2013.
 
Ande is the recipient of the Texas A&M Margaret Rudder Service Award, the President’s Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award from the office of the President of the United States, and the Buck Weirus Spirit Award from the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University. In 2018 Ande was awarded the Staff Excellence Award from the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University followed by the Texas A&M College of Engineering Staff Excellence Award in 2019.  Ande is also an active member of the Junior League of Bryan-College Station
